Luanda - Lunda Norte's Sagrada Esperança and Guinea's Soar drew 0-0 on Sunday in Boauké, Côte d'Ivoire, in the fifth round of Group B of the TotalEnergies Confederation of African Football (CAF) Cup, played at the Peace Stadium.

With this result of the match played at Guineans' borrowed home, due to the unavailability of their pitch, the Angolan team remain in third place with five points and have little chance of reaching the quarter-finals.

In their previous match on Angolan soil, Sagrada Esperança won 2-0. On the same day and in the same group, Abu Salim hosted Zamalek from Egypt.

The other Angolan team in the competition, Académica do Lobito, in Group C, lost 2-3 to Rivers United of Nigeria at the 11 de Novembro Stadium in Luanda, after also losing 0-3 on Nigerian soil.

Académica do Lobito have yet to win in four games and therefore have no chance of reaching the top four and consequently the quarter-finals.

The Angolan club's opponents are among the series leaders with nine points.

The group is led by Club African from Tunisia with nine points, the same as Dreams from Ghana, who are second.
