Luena - Petro de Luanda crushed FC Jovens de Hoje by 11-0 and qualified for the quarter-finals of the Angola Cup, in the match played at Luena's Mundunduleno stadium.

The match was completely dominated by Petro de Luanda, the current Angola Cup title holders, scoring five goals in the first half of the match, with the striker Yano scoring five goals in 90 minutes.

Inexperienced and lacking solutions, the Moxico team confirmed their lack of technical arguments to stop the offensive of the national champions having limited themselves to defend against a too strong opponent.

Speaking in a post match press conference, Veloso Martins, FC Jovens de Hoje assistant coach, said he was not surprised by the result, which he considered "humiliating", due to the inexperience of his players.

Petro de Luanda assistant coach, Joaquim Valinho, on his turn, said that the victory showed the determination, seriousness and professionalism of his players in this competition.

The competition continues with following Wednesday matches:

Académica do Lobito - Recreativo do Libolo

Isaac de Benguela - FC Bravos do Maquis

Desportivo da Lunda Sul - 1° de Agosto

Sporting Catabola do Bié - Interclube

Santa Rita do Uíge - Sagrada Esperança da Lunda Norte
