Progresso assistant coach slams team’s performance despite win

Luanda - Progresso do Sambizanga assistant coach, Pedro Dione, said he was unhappy with his team’s performance despite the 2-1 win over Recreativo do Libolo, in the postponed match of the first round of the national first division football championship (Girabola2021).

Speaking in the post match press conference, the coach said he was happy with three points achieved, but not so much with the way his team performed, saying  the team was forced several times to adopt a defensive posture.

Progresso are 10th placed with 16 points, while Libolo are 14th placed with 12 points.

The championship is led by FC Bravos do Maquis (28 pts), followed by Petro and Interclub, both with 25 points.
