Luanda - The Angolan striker Zito Luvumbo scored his third goal for Cagliari in the Italian Football League Serie A on Sunday, making him the team's top scorer after nine matches.

The Angolan international was part of the first line up and scored the first goal in his team's 2-2 draw against Salernitana in the 79th minute.

However, Salernitana equalized in the 86th minute through Boulaye Dia, Cagliari took the lead again through Nicolas Viola in the 88th minute, but Boulaye Dia scored once again in the 90th minute from the penalty spot to level the score.

In five Serie A games, the 21-year-old, who came has scored three goals in his debut as the second Angolan in the Italian top football division, after former Lazio centre-back Bastos Quissanga, now playing for Brazil’s Botafogo.

Cagliari are bottom of the standings with three points. Inter Milan lead the Serie A with 22 points. MC/AMP
