Lubango - Eighty farmers in Huila province collected 15 million kwanzas from the direct sale of products at the 3rd Potato Fair, which ended this Sunday in the city of Lubango, Angop learned.
The event provided greater contact between producers and traders, and resulted in facilitation of agreements for future purchases, estimated at 90 million kz, according to Paulo Gaspar, head of the local agricultural, trade and industry association (promoter of the fair).
He considered the fair to be positive, since it practiced balanced prices and allowed the sale of production.
The event took place from Wednesday to Sunday, simultaneously with the Christmas fair, and had the participation of 90 exhibitors, from 12 of the province's 14 municipalities. Quilengues and Chipindo are the localities that were absent.
