Angola organises 3rd SADC Industrialisation Fair in July

Luanda - The third SADC industrialization fair will be held in Angola from 31 July this year, with the presence of 15 exhibiting countries, according to Filomena de Oliveira, National Director of the Industrial Development Institute, Technological Innovation.

 

Filomena de Oliveira made this announcement on Thursday in Luanda while opening the 2nd edition of the Viana municipality agro-industrial fair, which has 150 exhibitors from agriculture and industry sectors of various provinces of Angola.

 

Shoes made of leather, African clothing, cosmetic products, agricultural and construction machinery are among others goods on display at the II agro-industrial fair in Viana.

 

On the occasion National Director of the Industrial Development Institute, Technological Innovation highlighted that events of this kind can be good avenues to help young people betting on entrepreneurship, create self-employment and generate steady income.

 

Regarding the SADC industrialization fair, Filomena de Oliveira, asked for the various stakeholders of Viana municipality to prepare well and be at an organizational level of excellence in order to show the potential of local production at the event.

 

The 2nd edition of the Agro-Industrial Fair takes place from the 11th to the 14th of May under the motto “Viana Towards Sustainable and Agro-industrial Development”.
