Luanda - The third edition of ANGOTIC 2023 - International Information and Communication Technologies Forum of Angola, to be held from June 12 to 14, this year in the country´s capital - expects to gather more than 150 exhibitors from the sector in the country, informed Wednesday in Luanda, Cláudio Rafael, who is a member of the organization.
The event that organized and promoted by the Government of Angola, through the Ministry of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication (MINTTIC), aims to open debate related to the current, global and future topics on Information and communication technology, promote the sharing of knowledge, opening networking opportunities for governmental officials, exhibitors and experts, as well as to present the innovations and trends in the sector.
Cláudio Rafael informed that for students access to the visits they will have to pay a minimum amount of two thousand kwanzas.
For the three-day event, he said, companies will have the chance to present their potential, innovations and key ongoing projects to more than 8,000 visitors.
“The event represents visibility, interaction between the regulator, investors and an opportunity to present the national companies potentialities”, he added.
The forum´s launching ceremony was headed by the minister of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication, Mário Oliveira, and was also attended by public and private sector agents.
During the ceremony, an innovative technological project related to malaria diagnosis made by students from the Institute of Telecommunications (ITEL) was presented and an advertising video of the ANGOTIC 2023 was also shown.
ANGOTIC 2023 is a global event on information and communication technologies, held and promoted by the Government of Angola, through the Ministry of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication.
