Luanda - Commercial banks in Angola have adopted a new schedule, starting December 21-31, aimed to respond to the festive season demand.
The measure follows the new Presidential Decree on the Situation of Public Disaster.
Bank branches open from 8 am until 5 pm, with 75% of the workforce, against the 50% that were in effect until Sunday (20).
The move is intended to ensure fast and smooth banking sector service, due to long queues recorded outside ATMs and bank entrance by people who hope getting cash.
