Cabinda - The minister of Public Works, Urbanism and Housing, Carlos dos Santos, on Thursday learned about the levels of physical and financial execution of construction projects under the responsibility of the Central and Local Government in Angolan Cabinda province.
Carlos dos Santos was briefed by the governor of Cabinda, Mara Quiosa, on some old buildings and roads that require urgent rehabilitation as well as on ravine erosions intervention.
The minister, accompanied by civil engineers and architects from his office, personally found some old buildings in advanced state of degradation and verified the level of execution of some road infrastructures in the city of Cabinda.
During his visit, the minister of Public Works, Urbanism and Housing awarded the rehabilitation work for a 26 km section of the National Road - EN-202, which runs from Sassa-Zau to the village of S. Pedro Cote and witnessed the consignment of the works for ravines restoration in the city and outskirts.
