Diplomat invites Chinese entrepreneurs to invest in Angola

Luanda – Angolan ambassador to João Salvador dos Santos Neto has invited the Chinese entrepreneurs to invest in forestry activity in Angola.

Quoted by China Economic Herald newspaper, the diplomat mentioned the provinces Cabinda, Cuando Cubango and Moxico.

 

“The Chinese companies have the opportunity to develop the forestry activity and produce in Angola in very profitable areas such as furniture, bio-energy, cellulose and paper, sawn wood, lampposts and energy transmission, the ambassador said to newspaper during an interview granted last weekend.

 

João Neto said that Angola has largest and fertile lands still to be exploited and the Chinese investors interested in the agriculture and agribusiness might take advantage of this opportunity to supply the consumers of its own country and export other markets of its preference.  

 

 “Angola has important natural resources and we need to cooperate with Chinese companies in this areas to attain the development of the country and the well being of the people”, said the official.
