Luanda – The young students, who finished second at the world's largest robotics competition, FIRST Global Challenge- held on October 6-11 in Singapore, on Tuesday were named as ambassadors of the National Space Programme by the Ministry of Telecommunications, Information Technology and Media (MINTTICS).

MINTTICS says the move aims to increase empowerment of young Angolans in the space science area.

According to the MINTTICS minister, Mário Oliveira, the inclusion of these young students in the National Space Programme could be a valuable contribution to this sector, enabling them to acquire more knowledge about satellites launching and programming.
