Luanda - The new rules on the importation of pre-packaged products, established by the Executive Decree 63/21 of March 17, come into force as from the 15th of this month.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (Mindcom), the Executive Decree establishes that imports of a series of identified products must, as from June 15th, be made in bulk, in Big Bags of at least one ton, and the process packaging being held in the country.

 

According to Mindcom, this measure by the Angolan Executive will make it possible to generate important gains for the country and the population in general, as the products will be imported at lower prices.

 

In addition, the measure will allow the emergence of many small and medium-sized packaging and logistics industries, all of which will generate new jobs.

 

The Ministry of Industry and Commerce also emphasizes that the measure has multiple advantages and places Angola in line with the best international practices in terms of Commerce and Distribution.
