ECCAS experts prepare Ministerial Meeting

Luanda - Experts from the member countries of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS) began Thursday a video-conference meeting to prepare the agenda for the Council of Ministers meeting of the organisation, scheduled for 23rd of this month.

Angola is represented at the meeting by a delegation headed by the Director for Africa, the Middle East and Regional Organisations (DAMOOR) of the Foreign Affairs Ministry, Ambassador Miguel Bembe.

ANGOP noted that matters such as the situation in the Central African Republic, the Indicative Strategic Plan for the five-year period 2021-2025 and the Action Plan for 2021 are under analysis.

The expert meeting continues this Friday (20), in the same format and using the same technological resource (videoconference).

The meeting of the ECCAS Council of Ministers is in preparation for the XVIII Conference of Heads of State and Government, scheduled for 27 November in Libreville, Gabon.
