OPEC daily basket price stands at USD 65.42

Luanda - Basket price of thirteen crude of the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) stood at USD 65.42 on Friday (30), compared with USD 65.71 the previous Thursday (29).

OPEC reference Basket of Crudes (ORB) comprises Sahara Blend (Algeria), Girassol (Angola), Djeno (Congo), Zafiro (Equatorial Guinea), Rabbi Light (Gabon), Iran Heavy (Islamic Republic of Iran).

 

It also features Basra Light (Iraq), Kuwait Export (Kuwait), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (United Arab Emirates) and Merey (Venezuela).

 

At 27 April meeting, the 23 members (13 OPEC and 10 Non-OPEC, signatories to the Declaration of Cooperation) decided to adjust the production quotas of the member countries for the months of May, June and July 2021.

 

However, Angola starts to produce 1,283 mbpd barrels of oil daily in May 2021, and plans to increase by 1,298 mbpd in June, and 1,319 mbpd in July.

 

 

The quota stood at 1,267 mbpd until April 2021. The figure owed to the initial adjustments made on 12 April, 2020 meeting.
