Luanda – Angola’s oil export from 98.3 million barrels reached USD 10.1 billion in the first quarter this year (2022), with an increase of 29.84% comparing to the fourth quarter of 2021.

From this gross amount of revenue, Angola retains the sums paid in tax revenues paid to the State via the operators' exports, and the barrels of oil to which the country is entitled to, at more than 280, 000 barrels/day.

 

Of the volume of oil exported, 26.22% is exported by the Concessionaire, the National Agency for Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels (ANPG) and 15.54% by the national oil company, Sonangol.

 

The remaining quantities were exported by international companies, TotalEnergies (12.74%), Esso (9.56%), ENI (9.82%), BP (6.35%), SSI (6.73%) , Equinor (5.84) and Chevron (5.80%).

 

Trading at a weighted average price of US$103,083, exports fell 0.21% year on year and 0.40% from the fourth quarter of 2021, according to data released Tuesday by the Department of Resources. minerals, oil and gas (Mirempet) .

 

The highest amount of gross revenue was recorded in March at US$4.15 million, during which 34.44 million barrels of crude oil were exported.
