Luanda - The process of sale, via auction, of real estate assets made up of 480 properties, at a national level, of the State-owned Banco de Poupança e Crédito, will help to reduce housing pressure on the state, the Secretary of State for Land Planning, Ana Paula de Carvalho said today in Luanda.

Speaking to the press, at the ceremony to launch the marketing of real estate assets under management of the BPC, she stressed that the process ends up being a starting point, because this bank is giving the start and then others will follow, so that the sector has greater capacity to respond in terms of housing.

In his turn, the Secretary of State for Youth, Carlos Almeida, said that the BPC process comes at the right time, because it will ease the programme that has been developed by the Minister of Public Works and Territorial Planning.

In his opinion, a new door is opening for Angolan youths, in the realisation of the dream of home ownership.

"The process will be open to all, with primacy to those that have their salaries domiciled in the BPC. In this way, we appeal to the youth to register on the site to see their dream come true", he added.
