Sonangol sells 30% of Sonadiets shares

Luanda – Sonangol Holding sold 30% of its assets in Sonadiets company to Diestman Marine, an oil company's source told ANGOP on Friday.

 

In its press release, the Angolan Oil Company states that the parties agreed last Wednesday, 22 September, the signing of the public deep and the sales agreement. 

 

The move is part of a long process of negotiation between the companies, under oil firm restructuring programme, aimed to resize the public business sector in accordance with the Privatisation Programme approved by the Angolan Government.

 

Divestment programme also covers several assets, with highlighted to the privatisation process of hotel units.

 

At stake are the hotels HCTA, Suite Maianga, Florença and Riomar.   

 

The public tenders were launched on 17 September and the proposals are expected within the coming days.
