Luanda – Angolan airlines TAAG announced Tuesday the opening of two new flight routes, namely Luanda/Durban with a stopover in Johannesburg (South Africa) and Luanda/Accra (Ghana) to start on November 30.

TAAG has said the measure results from the reassessment of market conditions and adjustments made to the company's respective regional destinations, a necessary exercise for network optimization.

For more information on travel conditions, passengers may contact the network stores or consult TAAG's website and call center service.

The airliner notes that for the Luanda/Durban connection, the initial route in South African territory will be provided by a local domestic operator, and in the second phase (1st quarter of 2023), the flights will be operated exclusively by TAAG aircraft.

TAAG adds that the Durban and Accra new destinations reflect the growth and expansion of the Angolan company to markets with high demand and international traffic.

TAAG is a leading company in the Angolan aviation market, globally recognized and with a sustained growth, offering 14 domestic destinations and the same number in international cities.
