Luanda - The Turkish ambassador in Angola, Alp Ay, Friday said that his country intended to boost bilateral cooperation with Angola in the areas of industry, trade and agriculture.

The Turkish diplomat, who was speaking to the press after a meeting with the minister of Trade and Industry , Victor Fernandes, said that his country intended to invest in the provinces of Bié and Huíla, with the involvement of the private sector, both Turkish and Angolan.

He said that the projects to be implemented in those areas will be accompanied by training of technicians, so that they can have the capacity to produce their own products.

At the end of the meeting, the Secretary of State for Trade, Amadeu Nunes, noted the importance of the talks between the two sides, as they made it possible to establish strategies to develop projects in the country.

Angola and Turkey cooperate in sectors such as Fishing, Science and Technology, Oil and Gas, Industry and Agriculture.
