Vietnam seeking to increase business volume with Angola

Luanda - The Vietnamese ambassador to Angola, Duong Chinh, expressed this Monday, in Luanda, his country's intention to increase business volume with Angola.

The Vietnamese diplomat, who provided this information at the meeting with the president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Angola (CCIA), Vicente Soares, therefore envisages the creation of an association of Vietnamese businesspeople in Angola and the availability of investors from his country in cooperating with Angolan businesspeople in several areas of economic activity.

Among the areas, Duong Chinh highlighted health, education, agriculture, energy, mining, industry, telecommunications sectors, as well as real estate.

The representative of the Vietnamese Republic in Angola called for the collaboration of the Angolan Chamber of Commerce and Industry in identifying Angolan businesspeople who are interested in doing business, through partnerships with Vietnamese investors.

For his part, the president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Angola, Vicente Soares, highlighted the importance of creating the Association of Vietnamese Businesspeople in Angola as it will facilitate commercial ties between both countries' business.

According to Vicente Soares, the CCIA is fully available to identify businesspeople who wish to find business opportunities with Vietnam. CLAU/AC/CF/jmc
