Talatona – The bishop of the Tocoista Church Dom Afonso Nunes, on Friday in Luanda, called on the young people to invest in continuous training, after completing their degree, due to the competition that forces them to be thoughtful and versatile.
For the religious leader, a university student who has completed higher education is a trained mind, an industry of ideas, a person totally different from others and anyone who finishes their degree without the aforementioned skills has wasted time during the training period.
Dom Afonso Nunes, who was speaking at the closing of the 5th International Conference of Tocoist Youth, under the motto “Tocoist Youth Let us Celebrate the Jubilee with Faith, Love and Prayer”, reaffirmed that young people who are in Universities cannot wait to complete their studies and then think about have a job, they must have an entrepreneurial initiative from the second year onwards.
In this sense, he stressed that the bank must facilitate financing of projects for young recent graduates so that they can leverage their knowledge and employ others who were unable to reach University.
“Only in this way will there be economic growth, development and peace because the young people who are the driving force will have a job, an opportunity to get a house and a car to pay for over a period of 15 or 20 years, without straying into evil,” he said.
For the bishop, young thinkers must be light in a world where youth is lost, being promoters of peace, of knowledge that is based on the word of God and produces contagious effects that leave visible and positive consequences, so that the country become different.
The person responsible once again condemned homosexuality as he considered it an abominable and diabolical practice and an affront to God.
In turn, the General Representative of Tocoist Youth, Luindula Mabanza Lukike, considered the three days of conference fruitful as they were elucidated, with rich approaches dedicated to changing the mentality that the government is not in a position to employ everyone.
The International Youth Conference of the Tocoist Church, which took place from January 31st to February 2nd, was part of the Jubilee festivities and the International Youth Days, bringing together more than 517 delegates from various Tocoist congregations.
