Luanda - The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation formalized on Tuesday the creation of the Luanda University, as a public institution of higher education, ANGOP has learnt from a communiqué issued by the incumbent institution.
According to the document, the ministerial department has created an installation commission for the creation of administrative, technical-pedagogical and infrastructure conditions, whose final report is expected to be presented within four months period.
Angola has 46 higher education institutions, including seven public universities, 10 public higher education institutes, three public polytechnic higher education institutes and nine military higher education institutions.
Of this number, there are also nine private universities, three private higher education institutes and four private higher education polytechnic institutes
