Luanda - The Angolan actor Paulo Figueira has been selected for the international cast of the theater play "The Art of Facing Fear" scheduled to premiere on June 19, in the United States of America.
"The art of facing fear” is a theatrical play in digital format that brings an awakening of the different types of "fears" caused by the new coronavirus pandemic.
It is an exploration on the different possibilities of what could be the world and has a cast of 25 actors selected from five continents.
Speaking to ANGOP on Monday from Philadelphia (United States of America), Paulo Figueira said he is happy to participate in this cultural event.
Paulo Figueira said he is motivated by the fact that he will be representing Angola and acting with actors from several nationalities.
According to the actor, the show is a successful attempt at a new reality in the performing arts, where the technology of tele-theater or virtual theater in which the actors are geographically spread throughout the world, but gathered in a digital platform.
