Luanda - Angola theatre agents defended Friday in Luanda, more attention from the State to Angolan performing arts, taking into account its role in the country's economic and social development.
According to the theatrical director Tony Frampénio, this art is considered unprofitable, which makes society look at it with less attention, contrary to what happens with music and painting.
Tony Frampénio added that, in order for it to become a profitable product, it is fundamental to create adequate infrastructures to spread the theatre and industrialize it so that the public gets to know the art of acting and pay for it.
Despite the good will and predisposition to overcome the challenges young people end up giving up, making the sector poorer from an attractive and economic point of view, Tony said.
