Gospel artist releases debut album

Saurimo - The gospel musician, Brother Timoteo, announced Saturday, the release of his first album entitled "Man and the truth of the Bible" on December 19 in Lunda Sul province.

Speaking to ANGOP, the singer said that the 14-track album was recorded at Nune África Music in Saurimo and mastered in Luanda and that in the first phase 1000 copies will be made available for the public.

He explained that the musical project had the participation of South African, DRC and Zambian artists, Solange Blessing, Sister Miclina and Miphi Bem, as well as national singers, Cigano Weza, Amaro de Jesus and Jorgina Sombo.

Brother Timóteo is the artistic pseudonym of Carlos Timóteo da Silva. He was born in the locality of Biúla, municipality of Dala (Lunda Sul).

He began singing in 1995, in the IEA's pilgrims' musical group and participated in a mixed album entitled "Sepha Iva, in 2015.
