Angolan authors participate in book "Sonhar Brasília

Luanda - The Angolan writer João de Melo and the illustrator Nelo Tumbula are among the authors of the book "Sonhar Brasília", to be launched on May 5, via YouTube (www.youtube.com/ unescoPortuguese) of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

It is a collection of narrative texts from eight nations of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP), which relate their perceptions of the city of Brasilia, capital of Brazil.

The event is a realization of the Executive Secretariat of the CPLP UNESCO in Brazil, the Government of Distrito Federal, in partnership with the Embassies of Angola, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, Mozambique, Portugal and East Timor, and Camões (Portuguese Cultural Center in Brasilia).

The publication is part of the celebrations of the 60th anniversary of the World Day of Portuguese Language.
