Lubango – The music group Banda Maravilha said they are facing difficulties to edit and publish its fifth album recorded in 2018, called "Entre Kambas" due to lack of money.
The group try to end 11 years without releasing an album, their main vocalist, Moreira Filho (bass guitar) has told ANGOP.
The musician said the album has 13 tracks in the styles of Semba, Kilapanga, Zouck, Bolero and Rumba, featuring national and foreign artists, among them, the Angolan Filipe Mukenga and the Brazilian Martinho da Vila.
He added that the group has been "knocking doors", but so far has not been successful, due to the economic and financial situation of the country.
Moreira Filho pointed out that at least eight million Kwanzas are needed and, if it is obtained, until next December the work will be launched.
Banda Maravilha were founded in 1993. They released the albums "Angola Maravilha" of 1997, "Semba Luanda" of 2001, "Zungueira", 2005 and "A Maravilha e os Kambas", in 2006.
