Luanda – With the aim of contributing to the patriotic, motivational and historical formation of Angolan youth, Job António Ventura Bastos brings the book entitled (lit transl) “Know the young commander Hoji-ya-Henda”.
The 82-page book, due to be launched on 26 April in Luanda Province, presents the qualities and experiences of the young leader and commander, who is immortalised for his heroic deeds.
According to the author, the book "is a simple literary and cultural gesture, in an attempt to contribute to the patriotic, motivational and historical education of Angolan youth, modelled on the young commander in his deepest sense of being and being in his nation".
Job António Ventura Bastos, born in Luanda, studied Law at Agostinho Neto University, where he was Secretary for Recreation, Culture and Sport of the Law Faculty’s Students Association.
He is also an actor and theatre director with a history of participating in various theatre shows, where he has won several prizes during different theatre awards.
According to data, this is the author's second book and it was published by Where Angola, which made 500 copies available.
In 2014, he published his first book, entitled "Os Cheiros e a Pátria".
