Luanda - The lawyer Lucas Pedro launched on Wednesday, at the Angolan Writers Union, a didactic book entitled "Child’s Food Supply and Others", a 204-page book published by Independent Graphic, which will have 1,000 copies available.
The author states that the work is a contribution to solve one of the questions that have filled the Family Room, in the Civil and Administrative Court, particularly in Luanda and other provinces of the country.
The jurist warns, in his work, that the failure to comply with the obligation to pay food due, especially to children and pregnant women, is qualified as a public crime.
Lucas Pedro is co-author of the book "Nito Alves - The last victim of MPLA in the 20th century", published in 2011.
He is a journalist for more than two decades with stints in several newspapers and a human rights activist and consumer rights defender, and has held important positions at the 27 de Maio Foundation and the Angolan Association for Consumer Rights (AADIC).
