Luanda – Angolan minister of Culture, Tourism and Environment Jomo Fortunato regretted Tuesday the death of the Angolan musician Tino Fortes in Portugal.
Jomo Fortunato presented his deepest condolences to the bereaved family of the musician, who died in Portugal, victim of sudden death.
Tito Fortes, who had hypertension problems, died at home after he complained of malaise.
João Constantino Pires Coelho Fortes, with stage name Tino Fortes, was born on July 20, 1969, in Luanda.
Composer and singer, he was one of those who excelled in Kizomba music in the early 1990s.
He released the album "Está na moda", in 1992, and "Minha Folga Surgiu", in 1993, with stress to "Mano Zé" being the theme that most distinguished him.
Tino Fortes is survived by a wife and seven children.
