Residents of Luanda Island get free movies exhibition

Luanda - Residents of the island of Luanda have benefited from free movies exhibition every Wednesday provided by the Art and Culture Foundation in cooperation with the Angolan Association of Film and Audiovisual Professionals (APROCIMA), Angop has learnt.

The partnership consists of the exhibition of national and African films during a period of 12 months in the local Wyza auditorium, where there is also the possibility of a conversation with national film directors.

The intention, reads the note, is also to provide free courses, for teenagers and young people of low income, residents or not in Luanda Island, through a project dubbed "Future Filmmaker".

The director of the Art and Culture Foundation, Naama Margalit, said she was pleased with the partnership, adding that this presents an opportunity to offer leisure and knowledge to the inhabitants of the Island of Luanda.
