Luanda - The premiere of the Angolan film "Mwana Nkento", on Monday night in Lisbon was marked with a crowded audience that filled up the São Jorge cinema in Lisbon.
With all the security measures imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic, the guests were satisfied with the premiere of the Angolan production at the theater.
"Mwana NKento" portrays the story of two young people from two different ethnic groups (Kwanhama and Bakongo), who decide to challenge the traditional principles that prevent them from living a "great love".
In addition to romance, it features tragedy and drama.
Speaking to ANGOP, the film producer, Sílvio Nascimento, said it took three months to conclude the process of capture and recording, due to the lack of financial support.
The premiere of the film marked the world premiere of the work recorded in the town of Caxala, Bengo province.
