Luanda - The second edition of the project "Os Alunos a Volta do Escritor", which aims to create reading habits and encourage nature conservation among the young people was held on Friday at Luanda’s Talatona municipality.
According to a note from the administration of Talatona that reached ANGOP, the project counted on the participation of the children's writer Zulini Bumna, who interacted with students, telling stories as well as alerting them to the need of watching over the conservation of nature.
A musical concert, a poetry recital, as well as a book exhibition and literary works offered by the administration to enrich the school library were also part of the event.
The note adds that the project also aimed to celebrate the World Day of Cultural Development marked on May 21 and the Africa Day to be celebrated on May 25.
