Luanda - Eight officers of the National Police (PN), stationed in the Municipal Command of Kilamba Kiaxi, were sentenced on Tuesday (08) to one year in prison, with suspended sentence, for the crime of physical and verbal aggression against a judge.
The summary sentence resulted from the assault on the judge, Júlio do Amaral Baltazar Germano, placed in the District Court of Cambambe, Cuanza Norte province,
which took place inside the 32nd Kilamba Kiaxi police station on the 2nd of this month.
Miguel Bala Sudukila and Manuel Joao Pascoal, Deputy Chiefs Gilberto Mafe and Multi Simao, as well as agents Mauro de Almeida, Manuel João Paulo Gumga, Dominique Feijó and Martins Patrício, were convicted at the session.
According to the judge, two officers will have to pay a judicial fee of 60,000 Kwanzas, 5,000 Kz of fine and 15,000 fees each.
