Luanda - The deputies to the National Assembly (Angolan parliament) approved last Tuesday, in general terms, the Draft Law on the Constitutional Proceedings, which guides the said Court in its analysis of cases submitted to it under its scope.
According to the draft law, which goes to the final global vote at the plenary meeting of February 18th, the Constitutional Court must refrain from procedural initiatives, having only jurisdiction over the preventive inspection, unconstitutional omission and extraordinary appeal processes of unconstitutionality.
