Camacupa - The first secretary of MPLA in Bié, Pereira Alfredo, appealed Saturday to the party militants to maintain a civic behaviour and refrain from answering provocations, so that the elections take place in an atmosphere of harmony.
He said the MPLA was for democracy, peace and peaceful coexistence.
He called for the unity and responsibility of the party members, as well as the reinforcement of the mobilisation campaigns to guarantee victory in the August 24 election.
"We will mobilise all militants, sympathisers and friends, as well as other citizens to vote for MPLA and for our leader, João Lourenço, as he is a man of bravery, who is working for the improvement of the social and economic conditions of our people," he stressed.
In his turn, MPLA's first secretary in Camacupa, José Lopinho, assured that the party militants in the circumscription are united and determined to ensure victory in the ballot.
