Cabinda - The Angolan consulate in the Ponta-Negra department and in Kouilou in the Republic of Congo started Friday to officially deliver the identity cards that are already issued for Angolan citizens who are living for long time in the both aforementioned places.
Talking to ANGOP, the general consul of Angola Andrade Cunha stated that the Civil Identification Post has available 374 identity cards issued from the 632 requests made by the Angolan citizens in Ponta Negra and Kouilou.
In the delivering ceremony, the 50 citizens who received the identification cards for the first time, expressed their happiness.
Samuel Andrade emphasized as well that the time which is faced by the Angolans in Ponta Negra is of expectations and a lots of joy taking into account that it enables them to circulate with identity in Congo and it also allows them to get the Angolan passport.
The consulate adopted the schedule from Monday to Thursday in morning hours for the reception of the processes to issue the identification cards and the Fridays set for the deliver of the issued ID's.
