Executive reiterates engagement in fight against poverty

Cabinda – Angolan Executive is committed to fight against poverty, based on structured programmes.

The Government commitment was expressed Monday by Secretary of State for Former Combatants and Homeland Veterans, Domingos Chicanha, on three-day visit to Cabinda province.

 

The official has been in Cabinda to assess the implementation of the Integrated Programme for Local Development and Fight Against Poverty.

 

Speaking at the meeting with Municipal administrators and assistants for financial areas, Domingos Chicanha said the Integrated Programme for Local Development and Fight Against Poverty demands great responsibility.

 

“The programme is serious and demands great responsibility led by an Inter-ministerial Commission”, he told the participants in the meeting, also attended by officials of Cabinda provincial government.
