Luanda - The Angola National Assembly (parliament) Speaker, Carolina Cerqueira, expressed today deep regret over the tragic sinking of a fishing vessel, in Mozambique, which killed more than 90 people.
In a note to which ANGOP has had access, it states that it was with deep sadness she got informed of the tragic sinking of a fishing vessel, on the 7th of April, which killed more than ninety people, including children, in the city of Nampula.
She expresses her deepest condolences on behalf of the deputies of the Angolan National Assembly and expresses solidarity with the families of the victims and the brotherly people of Mozambique.
"We hope that the families of the victims have the strength of mind to overcome such pain, which mourned Mozambique and also the people of brother countries, such as Angola" she emphasises.
"Please receive, Your Excellency, Mr. President, my fraternal hug and my high esteem and consideration", she concluded.
