Andulo - The MPLA's actions against corruption, impunity, cronyism and nepotism continue to be focused on this year, with a view to moralising the society.
The vice-president of the ruling MPLA, Luisa Damião, presented her party's Political Agenda for 2021 in Andulo municipality (Bié province) this Saturday, and said that such actions were included in the eight strategic axes of the said Agenda.
She recalled that the fight against corruption is a promise of the electoral campaign and of President João Lourenço's inauguration speech.
For this year, the MPLA also intends to consolidate peace, national unity and harmonization and organize and hold its VIII Ordinary Congress, next December, and the VII Congress of the Angolan Women's Organization (OMA), set for next March.
The partisan official said that the agenda also aims at preparing the party to participate and win the general and local elections, to promote structural actions in the scope of the State reform, to deepen and support the re-launch of the productive sector, the diversification of the economy and the macro-economic stabilization.
To promote the increase of employment for young people, their professional and academic capacity building are other objectives of the MPLA Agenda.
