CSIS clarifies link to Luanda Medical Center S.A firm

Luanda - The Center for International Health Services, Lda (CSIS), owner of the Luanda Medical Center clinic, has denied involvement in the recent asset investigation process, announced by the Attorney General's Office (PGR).

In the statement, it says that the relationship with Luanda Medical Center S.A., owner of the building handed over to the National Asset Recovery Service (SENRA), is restricted to the lease on the enclosure.

On Friday, PGR announced the recovery of the Luanda Medical Center building and other assets, created with public funds, as part of a heritage investigation process.

The process involves Messene Investimentos Limitada, Heave Grupo Investimentos-Limitada, Universal Sabedoria S.A and Luanda Medical Center S.A. companies.

Handed over to the National Asset Recovery Service, include the Luanda Medical Center building, the Hotel Monalisa Residence, Torres Eucaliptos real estate project and the Instituto Sapiens.1 building.

"Luanda Medical Center is an asset of CSIS Lda., which invested in refurbishing works of the aforementioned building and on top-of-the-range equipment necessary to guarantee the activity of this private health service unit at the highest level, in compliance with the most demanding standards international clinical trials ", said CSIS.
 

In addition to this clinic, it added, the group has another unit in Talatona, complementing the offer of services that include a wide range of health care in Luanda.
 

According to the note, the two clinics continue to operate normally and provide the highest quality health service.
