Luanda – Angolan Parliament Tuesday in Luanda unanimously passed a draft resolution that elected Emanuela Epandi Idalina Gongo Vunge as a member of the Higher Judiciary Council (CSMJ).
The draft that was discussed by the members of the Parliament’s 4th Commission says magistrate Emanuela Vunge comes in to replace Maria da Conceição de Almeida Sango, who has been elected to join the Constitutional Court Council.
The Higher Judiciary Council is headed by the Supreme Court presiding judge, comprising three jurists appointed by the head of State, five by the National Assembly (Parliament) and ten by fellow magistrates.
The draft resolution will be submitted to the plenary session of the parliament on Thursday (25).
