Dundo – The opposition FNLA party has pledged to allocate 40% of the state-financed homes for young people, in case it wins the 24 August elections.
The pledge was made by the secretary general of the party’s youth wing, Kiaku Kiala, on Monday in Dundo city, eastern Lunda Norte province.
Under the Presidential Decree 2/78/20 of 26 October and 84/22 of 12 April in force, 30% of the houses accrued to public service workers. Of this figure, 20 percent for young people.
Also 15% of the houses for public and private companies, 15% for public in general, 10% for emergency management and 5% for former combatants and veterans of the motherland and persons with disabilities.
Addressing a mass gathering, as part of electoral campaign, the politician promised to combat hunger.
