CASA-CE leader highlights challenges for 2022

  • Manuel Fernandes, Presidente da CASA-CE
Luanda - The leader of the opposition Broad Convergence for Salvation of Angola Angola - Electoral Coalition (CASA-CE), Manuel Fernandes, on Thursday stressed the need for greater engagement of its militants in the fight for alternation to power as of 2022.

The leader of the opposition party CASA-CE  made this statement while speaking at the swearing-in ceremony of the new Executive Secretariat of CASA-CE.

The leader of the political formation added that it was for this reason that a new National Executive Secretariat was appointed, headed by Domingos Simão Muanza, with the mission of taking its message from the top to the bottom.

"The new officials, far from rubbing their hands with joy at their posts, know that on your shoulders weighs a great responsibility to meet the expectations of Angolans for alternation of power," he said.

He praised the work done by the outgoing Executive Secretary, Rafael Aguiar, noting that the continuation of CASA-CE and the resurgence of its dynamics had his approval.

He expressed his confidence in the functions of National Commissioner that he will assume from now on, considering that "Angolans and this political formation did not lose an ally, but on the contrary, gained a defender of the consolidation of democracy in the country".
