Luanda - The vice-president of the ruling MPLA party, Luísa Damião, Saturday highlighted in Luanda, the need for the correct use of social networks regarding the dissemination of messages that contribute to promote peace, solidarity, fraternity, equality, unity, humanism and values of democracy.
The politician, who was speaking at the opening session of the Central Committee's Commission on Discipline and Audit, the Internet, especially social networks, provide an excellent opportunity for work, taking advantage of the speed and ease online communication to face the political challenges.
"However, it is necessary to put on our agenda the need for continuous promotion of values and principles for the correct use of social networks," Luisa Damião said.
Luisa Damião said that, as a result of the Covid-19, the use of social networks has become even more frequent and indispensable for interaction between people and an intense manifestation of one way or another of thinking about the country.
Regarding the party's anniversary, to be celebrated on the 10th of this month, she said it is a sovereign occasion to honor and highlight the important role played by the generation of founding leaders of the party, which 64 years ago laid the foundations for the aggrandizement of Angola's largest political force.
