MPLA encourages measures for macro-economic stability

Luanda - The Secretariat of MPLA's Political Bureau Tuesday encouraged the Angolan government to strengthen measures to ensure the country's macro-economic and financial stability, focusing on the social sector and diversification of the national economy.

According to the final statement of the session, the Angolan government was also encouraged to increase domestic production of goods and services.

Under the guidance of the MPLA vice-president, Luísa Damião, the Secretariat of the Political Bureau denounced campaigns against the dignity and honour of President João Lourenço.

According to the statement, the meeting "vehemently" condemned all entertainment manoeuvres aimed at discrediting the measures to fight corruption and impunity.

In the document, to which ANGOP had access, the Secretariat of the Political Bureau of the MPLA Central Committee welcomed the effective delivery of professional licences to Angolan journalists, considering it an important milestone for the valorisation and dignification of the journalistic activity.

Relatively the internal life, the Executive Organ of MPLA approved the plan of accomplishment of the missions of the follow up groups of the Secretariat of the Political Bureau to the provinces, to take place in the month of March, with the purpose of reinforcing the politic-ideological empowerment.
