Chinguar- The second secretary of the ruling MPLA in Bié province, Anastácio Severino Sambowe, on Saturday, called on young people to remain calm and confident in the political, economic and social reforms underway in the country, fruit of the work of the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, with a view to improve the lives of citizens in short term.
Anastácio Sambowe made the statements to the press during an anticipated dissertation act of the 58 years of the foundation of the MPLA youth wing (JMPLA), to be marked on November 23.
Repudiating all the acts and attempts of protesting led by young people against unemployment, Anastácio Sambowe admited that any reform brings some consequences and inadequacy, but considers it necessary to accept that the sacrifice now consented may bring some improvement in the lives of the people.
According to the politician, the MPLA's objective has always been to work for the improvement of the living conditions of the populations, but it calls for more cohesion around President João Lourenço's governance policies in order to encourage him to continue.
