Uíge - MPLA's 1st secretary in Uíge province, José Carvalho da Rocha, reaffirmed, on Thursday, its formation's commitment to social policies, in order to promote the well-being of the local population.
For this to happen, José Carvalho da Rocha, who was speaking at the provincial event launching the MPLA's political agenda for the year 2024, challenged municipal administrations to invest more in agricultural production, to accelerate this activity in the region and create family income.
In relation to the MPLA's political agenda, which comprises 11 axes, the politician said that the document serves as a guiding instrument for all the party's political action this year.
The act of disseminating the political agenda in the region, which took place under the motto “MPLA, serve the people and make Angola grow”, highlights the approach of governance to the citizen, promoting and ensuring quality governance, investing in social solidarity actions.
Diversification of the economy and ensuring social integration, defending and promoting the image and prestige of the MPLA and its leader, continuing to invest in the country's growth strategy, deepening the party's internal democracy and promoting the training and qualification of party's leaders.
The party's axes also include promoting active citizen participation in national public life, raising the levels of cohesion, unity, patriotism and professionalism, among other MPLA challenges for the year 2024.
