Saurimo – The vice-president of the MPLA Luísa Damião Friday reaffirmed the party’s commitment to the stability, well-being and development of the country at all levels.
The politician made the pledge during a political rally held in the eastern Lunda Sul province, stressing that the engagement comes in response to the people’s confidence in the party.
The vice president of the ruling party in Angola, who was flanked by the first secretary in the province, Daniel Neto, and other senior party leaders, acknowledged that there is a long way to go, but stated that MPLA will continue to focus on solution to the pressing issues, despite the difficulties.
Luísa Damião also appealed to the union and strengthening of militant structure aimed at ensuring the permanent hard work on better country.
The leader visited some social projects carried out in the region, such as the level of execution of works at the Photovoltaic Central, the Saurimo University Center, the National roads 230 and 180, as well as the bridge over the Mwanguêz river.
