Luanda – The ruling MPLA reaffirmed on Wednesday to be the party "best prepared to interpret and realize the noblest wishes of the Angolan people, the secretary of MPLA's Political Bureau, Albino Carlos, said on Thursday.
The politician made the statements in a press conference that served to mark the opening of the commemorative days of the 64th anniversary of the organization's foundation to be marked on December 10.
Albino Carlos praised the struggle for the liberation, independence, defense of territorial integrity and national unity as milestones of the party's trajectory of challenges and victories.
He added among the achievements, the attainment of peace, democracy, reconstruction and development of the country.
According to the secretary for information of MPLA, it is intended to make the commemorative days a broad movement of patriotic mobilization and national unity, to overcome future electoral challenges.
